The extension of life and its consequences

We are moving into a science fiction paradigm when it comes to longevity and expanding life. Among many scientists the approach to longevity is all about considering death a disease to be cured. High-tech prevention tests, wearables, the use of AI to cure chronic diseases, the use of big data to create algorithms to reprogram our DNA, organ replacements, Crispr gene editing, and a lot more to come in terms of technology and ways to extend life, increase the quality of life and maybe even cure death. This is probably the most powerful and consequential paradigm shift ever. If this were to happen imagine how our lives would change — the political landscape and the economies of the planet. This is very cool — something to look forward to.
